Viva Engage - Setting your email relay preferences

    At Richland, employees use a portion of Microsoft Teams called "Viva Engage" as our non-emergency broadcast messaging system.  To access Viva Engage, log in to Microsoft Teams (https://teams.office.com), and click on the "Viva Engage" link on the left-hand menu bar.  Your main feed will appear in the middle of the screen, with the various Viva Engage "communities" that you are subscribed to listed on the left-hade side of the page.

    By default, faculty receive email copies of all Viva Engage messages intended for them (as do students).  To reduce "email fatigue", staff only receive a small number of high-priority messages via email; all other messages are only visible in Viva Engage.

    To change this behavior, please update your preferences at https://apollo.richland.edu/VivaMailRelay.  Enter your Richland email address, then choose which Viva Engage communities you would like to be copied to your email.  Please note, there are some communities, such as Public Safety, whose messages will always be copied to email.
